Christine has always felt at home in real estate - literally. Coming from a family where nine out of fifteen immediate relatives worked in the business, conversations around the dinner table often circled back to homes, towns and the art of helping people find their next chapter. Growing up in Morris and Hunterdon counties gave her a front row seat to the charm of north-central New Jersey, and she draws on that local knowledge every day when guiding her clients.
Her career didn't start in real estate, though. After earning a degree in Political Science and a master's in education, she built a career as a paralegal focused on medical malpractice defense work. That experience sharpened her skills in organization, attention to detail, and clear communication - strengths she now brings to every real estate transaction. Clients value her ability to make the process feel straightforward and stress-free, with steady guidance and support from start to finish.
Licensed in both New Jersey and upstate New York, Christine brings advanced training to her work as a Seller's Representative Specialist (SRS), an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) and a Pricing Strategies Advisor (PSA). She also partners with her mother, Molly Tonero, who has been a trusted and highly successful Realtor in north-central New Jersey for over 40 years. Together, they've created a multigenerational team that clients know they can rely on.
Christine believes in giving back to her profession as well. She serves on the NCJAR Professional Standards Committee, sitting on panels that review ethics matters to help keep the industry strong and fair. Ethics and integrity are important to her.
When she's not working, Christine treasures time with her two grown children, family, and friends-often gathering in Saratoga Springs and Lake George, New York. She owns investment property in the area, giving her firsthand insight into smart financial decisions in real estate. A lifelong dog lover, Christine recently welcomed Maisie, a playful black Labrador rescue puppy who has quickly stolen her heart. She also volunteers with Home for Good Dog Rescue, helping other dogs find their loving forever homes.
Her story includes a global chapter, too. Along the way, Christine resided in Provence, France and attended school in London, England. These experiences gave her a broader perspective and an enduring curiosity about people and places.
For Christine, real estate is never just about transactions-it's about listening, teaching, and guiding people into the next stage of their lives with confidence and care.
